Challenge

Understand trends, needs, values, and motivations around type 2 diabetes patients and health professionals, and create rapid prototypes that address those needs, projecting 5-10 years out.

Approach

Interview and observe treatment methods of 20 physicians, nutritionists, pharmacists, and patients of varying incomes and stability then create and test prototype concepts.

Results

The insights and deliverables led to the creation of multiple product and service concepts, and education prototypes that could meet the needs of the growing Type 2 population.
